Engagement with neighbourhood

The dire condition of the government in the city, leaves us citizens no choice, but to engage and intervene in whatever way we can, to prevent a drastic slide into complete dystopia. While the system is so far gone down the road of hopelessness, due to continuous violation of the constitutional mandate, and disregard for the city's admininstration, that we are stuck with a situation of almost no return. However, since we live in a democracy and since we have a duty to contribute to the betterment of our city and our neighbourhoods, we choose to intervene and do whatever little we can to arrest the slide, and even to nudge the govt into restoring planned development and better governance.

A liveable neighbourhood is the least we can leave behind for our future generations...
